Naci Ağbal Appointed as Chairman of the Executive Committee and CEO of Aksa Enerji
In line with its 2030 strategic objectives, Aksa Enerji has implemented a significant transformation in its senior leadership structure as part of its ongoing corporate evolution.
Aksa Enerji, expected to exceed 4,200 MW of installed capacity across 22 power plants in 11 countries by the end of 2026, has implemented senior management changes to support the transformation of its corporate governance structure in line with its institutionalization objectives.
Within this scope, Mr. Cemil Kazancı will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Aksa Enerji, while Mr. Naci Ağbal has been appointed as Chairman of the Executive Committee and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Ağbal will also continue to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Aksa Enerji.
Mr. Ağbal aims to accelerate the commissioning of Aksa Enerji’s ongoing investments, further expand the company’s global operations, and advance strategic initiatives in line with the company’s 2030 targets.
Mr. Naci Ağbal will officially assume his new role on January 26, 2026.
At the same time, the Executive Committee has been restructured to enable a more agile and effective governance model aligned with the company’s strategic ambitions. While Mr. Serdar Nişli will continue to serve as a member of the Executive Committee, Mr. Cevdet Yalçın (CFO), Mr. Soner Yıldız (CIO), and Mr. Senlav Güner (COO) have been appointed as new Executive Committee members, in addition to their current roles.
The newly formed executive committee aims to enhance compliance with corporate governance principles while strengthening operational efficiency and fast, effective decision-making in line with Aksa Enerji’s strategic priorities.
With this renewed leadership structure focused on creating sustainable value for all stakeholders, Aksa Enerji is poised to further reinforce its global competitiveness and long-term growth trajectory.
