Aksa Energy has signed a $124 million international financing agreement for its 100.08 MW wind power plant with energy storage project in Mersin. The financing, provided by BBVA under the guarantee of the China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure), represents a strategic milestone in further diversifying the Company's funding sources geographically.
Having established itself as a global energy company with operations across 14 power plants in 8 countries and an installed capacity exceeding 3,500 MW, Aksa Energy has secured significant financing to support its renewable energy investments. The Company signed a $124 million loan agreement with BBVA Hong Kong Branch to finance the construction of its 100.08 MW wind power plant with energy storage in Mersin, Türkiye.
The financing, guaranteed by Sinosure, has a 12-year maturity and supports Aksa Energy's sustainable high-growth strategy. In addition to strengthening the Company's investments in renewable energy technologies, the agreement further enhances the geographical diversification of its financing sources.
