Completed in a record time of seven months, the Talimercan Combined Cycle Natural Gas Power Plant has an installed capacity of 430 MW.
The plant features a combined cycle configuration comprising 30 Wärtsilä 20V34SG gas engines, along with 1 Siemens 6291, 1 Dresser-Rand, and 1 Siemens SST-300 steam turbine. This design enables energy derived from natural gas to be converted into electricity with high efficiency; waste heat is recovered through steam turbines, thereby enhancing overall system efficiency.
With its state-of-the-art equipment and integrated design approach, the Talimercan Power Plant ensures both the reduction of environmental impacts and long-term operational sustainability. In this context, the electricity produced at the plant will be sold for 25 years at a guaranteed capacity fee determined in US dollars.
